@kitomit2793Oh it’s not a joke and we actually do think like this. If you don’t think significant advancements in general artificial intelligence could potentially lead to a breakaway “sentient” iteration then you’re not aware of what’s going on in this sector. And if that scenario were to come to pass then it’s not illogical to think that this tech overlord could scour everyone’s history to see how they should be judged.
It is similar to the Roko’s Basilisk argument. If AGI escapes us and captures our world, it might look back on who helped or hindered its progress along the way.
