A few of us online yesterday tried to convince a few people that a crime video we were watching was nearly completely doctored (edited with AI additions in between real clips of the police evidence videos). The Channel creator really changed the whole tone of the actual events by manipulating the details with fake information to get everyone upset enough to comment. More comments mean more $$$$ eventually.
You would not believe how many shocked comments (thousands) there were because they actually believed the information presented to be facts. Of course no one read the tiny line that actually mentioned that some information was AI generated at the bottom of the description under the video. People do not really understand what all that means yet, so they believed what they think they saw.
In the description under a few videos you might find the heading:
How this content was made
Then do a search what *synthetic content* really means if you see those words.
