About the things you say : Yes, taking inspiration in someone else’s work is completely THE SAME as an AI generating art from its database. One of you argument states that « when a human replicates art, i can see the uniqueness in their drawing ». Maybe, but you’re you. You’re biased by your own takes, your own opinions. You’re being subjective : you’re being human. And it’s fine, but it’s far from being a compelling argument.
Another one of your argument is the « perfection of the replica » done by an AI. Okay ? What are you mad about, exactly ? Are you mad at your camera when the pictures you take look like your original work ? Will you sue the constructors for making a good camera ? Would you sue the constructors of your computer monitor for perfectly rendering a pic of your art ? How is me taking a picture of your art any different from an AI rendering your art ? Why is one way of copying okay, and the other isn’t ? I really don’t understand that point you made.
