Thing to note is AI won’t replace artists/writers any time soon, it will be other creatives who use the tool which will. The jobs which really are the first to be threatened as a whole are the technical based professions in the creative industry, like graders, audio engineers, modellers, riggers and etc.
The bigger danger is raising the skill floor making it ridiculously hard for juniors to get work and maybe scaling down on the necessary amount of employees needed within a department (in my experience I’ve yet to see it)
The AI bros still lack the eye, creative ability and training to match against professional working artist. There is an abundance of senior professionals to hire. The current issue right now is a lot of the industry is back ended. Especially in the gaming industry. Most companies when given the choice (as it’s a no brainer) will always choose to hire seniors.
