@Petelfc88 "Ai will rob those writers because it will do a better job," you say. Surely that would depend upon what you mean by, "a better job"? Did Charles Dickens do a "better job" than Thomas Hardy or Jane Austen, for example.
Programs, such as Alexa, cannot 'think;' that notion is a misnomer. To date, no one has written a program that has become self-aware. Instead, most programs are limited to the knowledge of information and responses (to question) built up libraries. And they don't always respond with a full, accurate or pertinent answer. Asked how to thicken up a pastry mix, one Ai program responded: "add glue". Try asking Alexa: 'who invented the telephone?' If you agree with her answer then do look up the name, Antonia Meucci.
