@TheParadigmAI Quite frankly, your impression of AI sounds about a year out of date to me. A lot has changed, for those who use AI. I can only assume, if you don't see it you aren't using it enough. I can't show you something you won't look at, and most people who rush to deny AI, refuse.
Agents are doing a ton behind the scenes right now. You severely underestimate how much code AI is writing. Entire projects are being created and completed by AI.
A model was just released the other day, that helped improve it's own design. This is the year of agents and recursive self improvement beginning to take off.
