@benderthefourth3445 The problem is people's ignorance of how beneficial AI is.
AI is used in medicine, for cancer treatment, it's used for protein folding, and other fields like drug synthesis which are AI fields that demis hassabis works on at deepmind and isomorphic labs, it's getting better and better at math, programming, reasoning, improving science as a whole.
Solving climate change requires intelligence and if there is something smart enough to solve it, it's AGI /ASI
