@nikitamcconnell8027This has nothing to do with biology. If you train ai agents using genetic algorithms you are basically doing the same thing as nature. Lets say I create 100 self replicating ais and give them robotic bodies. Now I made 10 of them desperatly want to survive. The 10 who want to survive will have much greater chances at actually reproducing. Now we have an ai that acts out of fear of death. Whether that fear of death is a real emotion or just algorithms is up to debate.
