the problem is once every company starts replacing their workers with AI you'll have a massive problem with unemployment. Then on top of that, the data centers running it all (and we're starting to see it now already...) will be using so much electricity that the power companies raise their rates. MAYBE the government will step in and regulate the cost of power for Residential customers - but not before people have frozen to death in the winter and died from heat in the summer because they couldn't afford to heat and cool their homes due to the unaffordable electricity rates.
Understand one bit of history: revolutions ALWAYS begin with the poor people whom feel their government or the ruling class make them feel like 2nd and 3rd class citizens.
