They aren’t going to replace trucks. Trust me. There’s bills already being introduced in states to ban self driving commercial vehicles. All this is going to do is create better dynamic cruise control if anything. Because currently that tech sucks. My new truck will sometimes hit the brakes if it sees a shadow on the ground. Or it’ll slam on the brakes if a car is exiting the highway even though I’m not. We’re decades away from automation of driving.
