I also want to point out that usually we see tech as being moores law, which is unfathomably fast, means tech speeds up in ability, how small it is, and how much it computes every 2 years. This why your smart phone is more powerful than a Skyscraper filled with computers that sent the first rocket to the moon.
But heres the scary part, as of currently, with no sign of a cliff, AI is following that but its speeding up, currently its so fast that we are seeing it double in ability every 3 months, meaning something it has 15% success rate with now, in 1 year it will at nearly 75% and its speeding up, so actually likely shorter. So things that look impossible now, will basically be impossible for it to mess up in a year. And by than we could be seeing iterations at 1 month or shorter time scales as AI starts to work on itself, which Claudes last model I believe was mostly created by itself.
