I’m admittedly only halfway through but she seems quite bias and has only addressed the marketing term AGI as if it were a religion. In fact, her opening discussion about data centers ends with a contradiction, that Microsoft has reversed course. They both seem to mock the use of OpenAI to break Google’s monopoly, even though it seems that was accomplished.
The only thing that matters is automation and she seems completely uninterested in it. We could stop all “AI” improvements today and almost all office work could be still be automated. Technically, it could’ve been automated 10 years ago but businesses weren’t willing to invest, and that’s all I could think of as she’s describing companies being “pressured” into heavily investing into “AI” aka automation.
46:39 - wait, she just admitted she wanted to “shape consumer behaviors”, literally manipulate the way people think, to address what others see as another religion. Now, it appears she’s simply jealous her religion wasn’t the absolute top priority in Silicon Valley.
