Spoken like someone who doesn't think beyond the first step or knows an ounce of tech history.
Manual labour is already taken over by robots. Which are getting more and more flexible in their application.
At some point (and we're not far off from it) you'll have robots building robots, robots fixing each other when they are broken etc.
And also, if you loose your job because of AI, then you don't need a plumber or electrician or an HVAC guy, because you couldn't pay for one anyway. Those who can pay for them also have the money to buy a robot.
As for the windmills: Those can be fixed by robots too.
