@jordan5113 I don't believe fair use applies with AI, because most applications are not transformative. It is literally taking the most likely next pixels based on its data set—its not "transforming" anything, because its not making decisions. It's not giving perspective, it's not critiquing the original, it's not creating anything. In addition, and more damning, is that fair use looks *very* skeptically on things used for commercial purposes, *especially* when it would harm "the potential market or value of the copyrighted work." That alone disqualifies it from fair use, so anyone claiming "fair use" doesn't even know what that means.
