It isn’t because of the brightness/contrast/camera quality, it’s because of the datasets we got till now. These algorithms have been trained with certain age group and certain colour, if the subject matches with the face it recognises in fraction of seconds, if it’s quite opposite, there’s a problem. Lack of brightness/contrast/Camera quality just make’s the problem worse!
I’m a MSc Artificial intelligence student, So I know what we use to train the systems!
It’s hard to digest but it’s the truth!
