@gen2mediainc.577 only because these generators are privately controlled like every other piece of automation. this is just another step in cementing that people don't have a claim to the value that is extracted from their own work, and these image generating algorithms are just a tool in that process. and just as easily they could be used as a tool to empower artists.
i'd very much like to see it being used collectively or independently by artists to give them more free time to make the art they want to make. they could train it on their own work to make it faster to deliver comms to paying costumers for example. i hope we can still change how ai is being used, because it might be too late to stop it being used
