Sorry, but nah. Sure, you will be able to make pretty pictures with AI, but nothing of actual value.
You will never be able to make a game like Hollow Knight, which has an incredibly unique art style and very coherent background that actually tell the story/lore within the art. The environmental storytelling is amazing. There is also lots of symbolism and whatnot in the art, something AI can't create because all it does is generate a random pretty picture out of stolen art.
If people like you start making AI slop people will gravitate towards actually original, unique and meaningful games like Hollow Knight even more-
