@TheBerylknight No. that’s not how this works with Super Intelligent AI. You just don’t quite understand the reality of the system at play here. Go read Nick Bostroms “Superintelligence” book for a full break down. Essentially what we are talking about is AI that can self improve, self code and on a level that is incomprehensible to us and at speed. Take a Calculator, you can type in any equation and have an answer in an instance. That speed is like a snail to SAI. So you have a self improving system operating at godly speeds in a direction we can no longer understand or control. There in lies the fear, because it is ambivalent to us, we can no longer assume our own safety.
People pretending to understand and say “Its just a programme” simply don’t understand.
