I think there's a point you missed here, there's a limit to what AI can learn- it can replicate existing code and patchwork that into something that works but it does not have the creative ability to design NEW code to solve new problems. It simply can't "learn" that. Once long ago (I'm getting older) when I was uni, doing a course on tech and humanities- we had to do a paper on AI after reading various POVs on the subject. IMO then and now the problem is that we keep trying to make a computer do what we humans do very well by nature but is very difficult to make a computer do instead of making the computer do what it does best as a tool along side humans like mass data analysis and storage that we humans need help with in our ever increasing complex world. That it should be a partnership where one cannot replace the other, as they each have strengths and weaknesses.
