Hey Zac! Thank you so much! I really appreciate this. I used to code, but haven't done for years (at least not commercially). I highly doubt the current (or even the next few generations) of ChatGPT and the like will be able to write a show. So thank you for the much more informed view on that!
I do think at some point it will be able to generate ideas and adjust scripts and dialogue. Which would undermine the work of human writers. So I do see their concerns as valid. Albeit early! But also, if they don't do it now, when should they have it written in?
I also think, if they get this written into contracts it might stop the development of AI to write scripts. If nobody can / will use it, then there's no point in developing it etc. So it helps in a few ways.
