Yeah. I also think most people will prefer real people take care of them as nurses and doctors instead of robots and AI. At least I would prefer a real person taking care of me in the hospital, doctors office etc.
It's very important to have someone real, who can actually feel empathy and sympathy as your nurse and doctor, as well as small talk and stuff like that, the human aspect of these professions is very important and can even help make people feel better and get better faster. A lot in healthcare should still be done by humans. Also like caregivers for the elderly in retirement homes etc.
I just don't see AI and robots doing the jobs of nurses, doctors, caregivers etc. they can definitely be helpful/useful for people working in healthcare but it can't be fully automated.
Imagine robots walking around in hospitals who are doing the nurses and doctors work. Sounds like a cyberpunk dystopian nightmare. I hope they don't also try to save money by getting rid of real people as workers and using robots and AI in these types of fields/industries...
