I've been attempting to write something in that same vein in response to other comments around sentience, intelligence, AI and humans, but I'm not in the best shape right now, and keep getting overwhelmed by everything I want to put into words.
Human centrism, and the belief that we are superior that comes with that, is a tiresome downfall of our kind. Now that I read your comment I might be able to let go of my compulsion to reply to others on the topic for a while. May prove very beneficial to my overall health and well-being 😉
