@StarlightDew that’s right, the creators do still own the rights and can leave a platform whenever they want. However, part of the deal with using these platforms is that the creator agrees to allow the platform to use any works (images, posts, videos, etc.) for their own business purposes. Such as: packaging up millions of images and selling them to AI companies.
It’s part of how Facebook makes money. How google makes money. They take information and data that users out in them and resell it.
