It's safe to extrapolate based on an empirical understanding of Moore's Law and what massive growth self-driving technology will likely experience once there is substantial hardware (vehicles) on the road and the software integrated into them begins to massively collect data and improve upon itself. I'm not claiming to know the future, and I'm not shitting on Jimmy (love the guy), I'm simply expressing what experts in this field all agree on and extrapolating based on what we've seen so far regarding sudden jumps in information technologies.
