I really like that this video covers the reasoning for the existence of rights, rather than doing the whole "natural rights are self-evident" nonsense (and wrong - rights aren't some quality that pervade the fabric of space-time; we invented them). My conclusion assumes that sufficiently advanced AI will be capable of the same qualities as human and so deserving of rights the same way e.g. concept of fairness, which in retrospect doesn't seem very logical after watching this. I'll have to think about it some more xD.
