It seems that creating such an artificial consciousness is not even possible. Maybe it will one day, but not for a long time. First, we would have to completely understand the human brain. We don't, and we won't for quite some time. AI will not be capable of our real emotion until we completely understand the mechanics of our real emotion, which we don't, at least not fully.
