Every stage beyond our current stage is science fiction, which may or may not ever come to pass. In the meantime, the so-called "AI" that exists now is largely over-hyped vaporware. Self-driving vehicles that are even minimally reliable are as non-existent now as they were a decade ago. Every interaction that I have with a corporation or government agency is as cumbersome as it's ever been. I'll begin to worry about "God-like" "AI" when start to see the current manifestation of "AI" improving my life to some degree.
