As a senior AIML engineer at one of the largest companies in Silicon Valley I’ve been screaming this from the rooftops for almost 4 years now.
People are being straight out lied to in the pursuit of venture dollars. Not only are these popular technologies not “AI”, they’re not even steps on the road toward the more general intelligence they claim to be.
