Shouldn’t we the public try to change the system through politics? Through strikes and protests? I think all companies should be collectively owned by the workers and every worker has a duty to it and a stake in its performance. The pyramidal system of capitalism is not sustainable but we can have a more “old school” type of capitalism where decisions are made by collectives. AI might have niche uses but is overall bot that necessary for our happiness. All this technology is more stupid entertainment and has not made us happier or healthier.
