The scariest thing to me is the idea of AI puppeteering humans in order to gain human level access. Such as hacking communications and impersonating the people we trust. This is already happening with bypassing Captcha and with the use of bots on social media. It sounds like science fiction but I think there will become a time when we have to disconnect from the internet and civilization will take a huge step back so that we can re-evaulate how we can regain our minds and trust one another. This could already be happening for some people. The last thing we need is a neuralink type of connection to Ai, then there's no way out.
