This isn't rocket science. Automation can replace repetitive operations but it cannot experience changes suddenly made to it. Human mind operate on two levels, mechanical and emotions. It's the latter that AI as yet to master. This isn't going to happen as long as these unit are connected to the data only and do not have the abilities to embrace the realities of the moment.
