Also imagine if illustrators could sell their own AI models that they trained on their own artwork. The artist could do something like pay a membership fee and you can use this for concepting and such and such.
The reach would be higher. The artist would be in control. And more people could afford a concept artist even if it’s not as good as hiring the actual artist. Hopefully like a stepping stone.
The problem is the unregulated training and use. I think Europe is off to a decent start with regulating. But we shall see.
