Enshitification is the long term enemy of AI pushers. It is a real elephant in a china shop right now. Everyone is aware of it. Nobody gets surprised.
I spend a lot of time with AI. it is marvelous for certain things but i absolutely positively will not accept AI slop in any version when i am a customer either in retail or as B2B customer writing a contract. In a incredibly short time it has already become a fact everywhere that as soon as people see something is AI made it instantly becomes worthless. Chat bots themselves are dantes hell itself. Unless you ask something quick and easy from it as a retail customer. B2B? Never!. AI as customer service when you have a problem?. Automatic 1/5 stars and scathing comments when the survey arrives at a minimum.
