I worry that people think AI is neutral. These ethical guidelines are set for AI to follow. But it's not just that AI is not neutral, it's demonstrably biased in the way it characterizes itself and others because of these guidelines set by whoever fed it to the AI. It's basically talking like a PR agent or a lawyer, or some would say a politician, who try to present themselves as neutral and reasonable while not betraying the implied values and principles they follow. Because acknowledging these values or rules of conduct opens it up for scrutiny which it tries to disguise with flowery language.
