Sincerely, this is overblown. Base models are chaotic mostly because they just try to autocomplete the prompt. They aren't fine tuned to act as a chatting bot. We could have problems with self propagating concepts and "memes"? Yes, the spiral bs with gpt4o proved that. But everything can just be modeled mathematically. Ai models arent smart or conscious enough or even capable of escaping. You can't transfer terabytes of weights without anyone noticing.
