I personally hate AI because I can seem to ever get something good or passable out of it before I get distracted. Like I see these AI bros that are like look how good this art is that only has a couple of minor defects but when I try with the same settings and same prompt I sit there for hours clicking generate. Makes me wonder how often they spent clicking generate. Additionally I think that AI generators like Firefly (don't use anymore because adobe) that only train on Creative Common works. I'm not a lawyer but that's exactly what CC works are for. CC works have also been used in AI image generation papers for a while now. Additionally it's unambiguous of the rights of CC AI generated images because any works that are derived or used with CC works can't make money and are also licensed under CC.
