Not McCarthy.

The only people who talk like that are:

-companies selling a mythology
AI is not a cathedral with a single architect. It’s a scrapyard spaceship welded together by:

-government labs
-forgotten think-tanks
-classified programs
-DARPA fever dreams
-Cold War paranoia
-and a hundred thousand nobodies who never got credit!!!!
The entire field is cumulative, distributed, emergent — more like fungal mycelium than a tree with a trunk. Anyone claiming fatherhood is already lying.

Real.

Also real.
But he didn’t “father” or "godfather" crap.
