We needed a Data Entry/QA person, but my company had me and a couple engineers fully automate the role. So, that was one job that got replaced. Then, they had us do the same thing for the main data analytics work I was doing. Some of it was really complex, but it could do it. When I left the company, most of my job had been automated and the tasks that weren't were just handed over to other analysts. They never hired another person after I left. That makes 2 jobs that were replaced by AI/automation.
The ironic part about the whole thing, is now I can't find a job because I've basically been removed from the workforce and replaced by AI, so I just post about video game news on X and wonder what I will do next... 😂. It's already happening people, and it's not just entry level and junior roles. It's anything that AI can handle at the moment, which seems to be everything but senior and manager roles. The people who monitor the AI and automations.
