I don't know about the world but I like AI. Its helped me research on barley and rye seeds. The same will be used for baking bread and malting beer and whiskey. Those products will be sold at a small scale. Then I learnt how to blend tobacco with cloves and I've already sold a lot of batches. Now I'm studying code and I find that it's really easy with five different (AIs) opinions to choose from. Today I started learning math all over again from scratch. I need to learn because I barely attended school when I was young. The best part is that the AIs are so encouraging that I now want to learn. I'm at it everyday, seven hours a night. I also run a food business and I'm able to fine tune my recipes by simply pasting the YouTube link to chatgpt and work my way through it without having to go back and forth over certain steps. The whole point of AI is to empower people who don't have a job by helping them get creative. Now in all my free time I can learn to code which will come in handy if I need to add or modify more software to my delivery drone, tractor or farm implement. This in turn will drive up productivity and reduce costs, following which there will be a reduction in demand till we arrive at a near equilibrium. But AI as a tool for automation will definitely take jobs. As an entrepreneur there are several roles where I could replace ignorant, inefficient, arrogant employees. I would replace them with a chatbot or robot/drone in a blink of an eye. In fact the whole reason why I'm learning to code is so that I can efficiently create and manage my own custom chatbots. In the course of learning I was bitten by the coding bug and it's become fun. Now imagine if I have a brilliant idea and I want to apply it to concept but owing to a lack of knowledge I am unable to. Fast forward two years from now and I'll be creating a lot more stuff with the knowledge that I have learnt. If I can reasonably master STEM and supplement it with AI then I can already join the ranks of people who create new stuff and inventions. Whether I do the right or wrong thing still falls under the purview of the laws and courts of any nation. But just solely on production and ideas if more roles are automated we could greatly reduce the need for many jobs. That same workforce will have all the free time that I do now and become as creative as I am. They will build businesses from scratch starting with the one that requires the least amount of capital. I'm also adding a fish pet store in my online kitchen because I have the real estate for it. It's a business that I know nothing about but with time I've learnt and i enjoy it. With the mega players (Amazon) there remains very little left to trade in but there are still niche businesses where on can get into. In a few years I can lease out of maybe even buy some farmland and start a fish farm. Then there are dogs breeds and so much more. I'm also learning so much more about scientific farming. Now that's just me. Hopefully there's another 4 bn creative people who can do the same, while the remaining 4 bn lazy ones will drive their respective nations into anarchy. The truth is everybody has to play along with technology because the Yays far exceed the Nays. As for the aquarium I bought some makeshift ones from yours truly (Amazon) which happen to be transparent plastic. They work and I'll begin by this year end. But yes, urbanisation and an urban lifestyle that involves a certain level of class that Gen X were used to is not sustainable. AI will keep people back in the country where they will be able to manage their own mini farms and small scale industries in tech or otherwise. The mega players will out price them but there are lots of people who don't want to buy stuff online. Finally, all across the world there is enormous potential for utilisation of aerable land. The same workforce will go back to their roots. Maybe half will hang on in the city and die out. Maybe a portion of them will start learning the same STEM stuff that I'm learning. Before we know it we have built an deep ocean hotel or travelled to space. Jobs is a very archaic concept. Overtime it makes people lazy, unhappy and demotivates them. Just Over Broke. It's the way I have always been before I ventured into trade. In addition, the rise in cost of living is going to limit people from having kids and that will automatically help curb overpopulation and overconsumption of natural resources. Efficiency and sustainability is key to humans evolving. Yeah there will be people who will die homeless and pass out in the sidewalk but hey, no one has been doing anything about it for the past three decades. A section of the new homeless people will resort to crime and thereby more people from the same pool will be employed as cops or they'll be educated and put to work in the newer system again. As code controllers who control humanoid robotic police agents that roam the streets. When things really get bad then there will be a civil war (not that the US isn't heading for one right now) and the new reset will sort things out. Or not, because the market has now shifted to East Asia where there are more consumers. Like it or not, people will find a way to get their three meals a day whether it's beg, borrow or steal. In the meanwhile, I hope the remaining intelligent people can find the elixir of a longer life. Or find a way to prevent radiation from affecting us during space travel. Or solve how we can get to the next nearest planet in the event (very plausible) that are planet is hit by an asteroid. That would be an end of mankind in itself. Now would you just want to protest and stop the AI/AGI program if it could accelerate our progress at discovering a new inhabitable planet. One where we could transport some of humanity safely and populate it. In my life I've met countless intelligent people who all couldn't continue their schooling or even dropped out owing to a lack of funds, or a bad teacher. My AI doesn't shout at me. Rather it encourages me the moment I'm at breaking point. I say the Naysayers can go take a piss behind the Oort cloud. I'm all for AI/AGI and beyond. ❤🎉
