The host kept asking same questions again and again. Not prepared to enquire and build on the answers. Host should have used an AI to generate questions that are meaningful and with technical knowledge.
Family tree, wife, kids, fears ...host is all over with his emotions and curiosity about the behavior of the guest. Reactions , and more reactions from face as if a photographer is asking to show various expressions.
A scientist does not have performance /acting skills to animate their life in front of audiences.
Once you have a clear understanding how to talk to a scientist , the responses to the right question could have thrilled the audience on a different plane !
You missed ask a scientist what his art of science works. His work has been the most important part of his existence and there were no enquiry about how he developed , used and grew bigger with his knowledge.
