That is all human behaviour. We are like those frogs which can be boiled by rising temperature more and more until boiling point. where were those people with flyers when OCR was "Born" ? (they din not been born yet, of course). in 90's (maybe earlier) you had a very simple neural network to read scanned text for you, nobody protested that some other people will losttheir jobs or some feeling scammed by "AI". Same with cellphones. Do somebody still uses those tools giving you hats, glasses or cat ears in realtime? Face recognition is "AI" too. That AI booth is OK, it claims it is AI and is honest with that. Yes, it learned on other artist's work, but BioIntelligence did same (real artists). Do somebody remember Will Smith eating spaghetti? It was honestly marked as AI generated when posted on redit. Now I have plenty of deepfakes in my adds telling me what to do with my money by "our president", "our pime minister" and so .... (plus colouring books, t-shirt designs, stories .... what ever you want) So, let fight against scamm, it does not matter if it is AI or BI generated. Scam is scam. I remember girl showing painting she did and proudly stated that it is so liked that she already made three of them. Somebody posted original from different author and this girl did not seem happy with that. Again, we are Humans, we do this all the time. We find a way to utilize anything for our "easier life" (benefit). We started to use just stone and it was broken, we utilized everything even other people. Just now we do not keep those people in chains, but still abuse them (them/us/each other ....). We need to behave better, it does not work that way "It is just a few cents, it does not matter". It Matters! Scam is scam, thief is thief. Where is the line? At 10cents at 10bucks at 10 grands or ten billions? We need to DEMAND those places/cons to set up strict rules. We need to demand REFUND entry fees in such event because they did not tell us that there is AI included. It is their responsibility who has stall there and what he provides. (If there will be stand with sex toys on such event, you will just vawe and left? Probably not). I hate things like "HAND MADE" labelled and see that somebody just put plywood into LASER machine and click "go" by hand. We do not await handmade generic design, we want uniqueness, that is what matter. Same as beads were sign of wealth in Scandinavia, North America and almost everywhere, because they were labour intensive and rare, automation make them sign of cheapness - costume jewelry/bijoux fantaisie (there are still some kinds which are precious, but not much - especially those plastic/resin made are crap for sure). a tiny rant?
