Humanity is definately not ready. Technology has advanced faster then laws and civilisation. In fact I think civilisation has stagnated due to a few reasons. The over-relience of technology which is making us stupider, far too many pointless conflicts especially for the social climate. Then when it comes to ChatGPT people are using it as substitutes for talking to people, therapy, all of their research, relationships and so on. Not to mention companies using it in place of labour. For some instances maybe it's fine but for skilled labour it's collapsing industries.
