When technology replaces blue collar jobs then they say its progress and you need to learn a new skill. But when technology replaces white collar jobs, then it's Armageddon and the world is coming to an end. Then they want to talk about it. Where were conversations like this years ago when automated cash registers replaced cashiers or computers replaced the people who answered the phones? It's only now that their jobs are being taken over that they see it as a problem.
