Hot take but there is definitely a difference between good ai art and bad ai art, and you don't need talent to use a paintbrush you only need talent to use it well - you can give a child a painbrush and they will paint something, that doesn't make them talented. I agree with this guy that AI is just another tool to create art, much like a paintbrush, but ALSO much like a paintbrush you will create something better if you use multiple tools and use all those tools together, such as painting edits onto an ai base or generating small details onto a hand drawn base. Everyone seems to be referring to ai by the people that pump out garbage and post it on facebook to farm likes from 90 year olds, which to be fair is a large group, but you don't refer to digital art by the 12 year olds on deviantart drawing inflation or something. Theres some nuance to it.
