I feel like his answer is surprisingly closed minded on AGI. I think the room analogy is accurate, but the room for an AGI is the entirety of the Internet. Not long after, it will have visual and audio inputs from the real world via access to cameras, mics, etc. and live reporting on current events. I'm skeptical of the AI 2027 scenarios (surprised it's not directly referenced here), because it seems to have very specific events occuring, but think it accurately predicts at least the scale of impact.
