So for those wondering about the “I and chatgpt” segment of the video. chat gpt works in “instances”, when you interact with chatgpt you are not interacting with the same chatgpt from, say last month. Rather you’re interacting with a temporary model of it, an “instance”. It’s why you would get varied answers and it forgets certain details, each conversation you hold with it is just another instance of the current model that’s being pushed out. When it said “I specifically didn’t recommend” or “I don’t recall” it was quite literally a different chatgpt instance. Each interaction is unique and there is no one model of it that recalls other models conversations, just yours. It can get info from the internet but not from other peoples conversations with it.
