There is a certain group within the AI crowd. The apparent hatred and toxicity, lack of understanding, etc from those people towards actual artists, who have very valid concerns, stems from jealously and inferiority complexes. Now with AI they can also style themselves as “artists” elevating and deluding themselves into thinking that they created something. The truth is that something was created by a machine, without them putting in the actual effort, time and studying, developing the skill necessary to create art in the real sense. Thousands of pictures generated by AI for them and they still have no idea of what actually goes into this discipline, the concepts and technicality, what makes a piece successful, or what makes art as a whole and by extension true artists, valuable. I almost feel sorry for them.
