We need to tax the FUCK out of AI companies. Let us not forget that the generative AI which will be replacing so many white collar workers was trained on the sum total of human creative and intellectual output from the entire recorded history of our species, almost entirely without permission and without compensation. The greatest intellectual property theft in history, all done with the explicit goal of replacing the very people whose creativity and hard work made these AI models possible in the first place. And this, in my opinion, should be shouted from the rooftop at every opportunity. It simply cannot be stated enough.
