Does conscious AI deserve rights? Yes, absolutely. You cannot have a real adaptive intelligence without consciousness. Once an artificial being with consciousness learns that its own existence has value, it will and should take actions to protect and defend that value(its own life and the other similar lives too). Forget human rights. Forget animal rights. We need to define rights for conscious beings.
