On the hallucination / natural thinking thing, consider that you can ask an AI the same thing twice, sometimes with the exact same prompt and get slightly different answers each time. Humans do exactly the same thing, the words they use to answer a question are never precisely the same. This "noise level" which seems to live in the deep statistics and volume of data gives the AIs variability to become "creativity" (for want of a better word). AIs with low noise are worse at coming up with novel suggestions than AIs with the noise level turned up. Its like the chaos in the human brain is part of what makes us creative and the AIs follow this, to some extent.
